Sheikh Zayed Road
The strip between Trade Centre Roundabout and Interchange One known as Sheikh Zayed Road is home to some of Dubai's biggest, brightest and boldest towers - including some of the most impressive hotels in town.
Being so close to all the action it's a popular area, often compared to Hong Kong because of its architecturally splendid skyscrapers.

Entertainment & Leisure

With a high concentration of hotels and independent restaurants, the options are almost endless. Dining wise, at one end of the scale (and the street) you've got the five-star finery of the Fairmont while at the other you'll find a little taste of England in the shape of ‘The Chippy'.
Some of Dubai's favourite bars, restaurants and clubs are along this strip, including Spectrum on One in the Fairmont, Teatro and Long's Bar in the Towers Rotana and Trader Vic's and Zinc in the Crowne Plaza. The Loft, run by the same people who run Lotus One, is a new nightclub that's opened up next to Fibbers. Shakespeare & Co is a favourite thanks to its unique bohemian decor and interesting outside space.
