Burj Al Arab |
The spectacular Burj Al Arab, designed to resemble the graceful sails of an Arabian dhow, soars to a height of 321 metres, dominating the Dubai coastline. The all suite hotel is situated on a man made island some 280 meters, offshore and is linked to the mainland by a slender, gently curving causeway.
With your chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, discreet in-suite check in, private reception desk on every floor and a brigade of highly trained butlers who provide around-the-clock attention, you can be assured of a highly personalised service throughout your stay.
Burj Al Arab does not have rooms; it has 202 suites, each one arranged over two floors. Ranging from a spacious 170 sq. mts to an astonishing 780 sq. mts in size, the floor to ceiling glass windows offer simply breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.
Decorated with lavish textures and exuberant colours, each suite features a sumptuous living and dining area, state of the art entertainment system and office facilities. Their sheer opulence in every tiny detail is underpinned with technology that does everything from controlling the 42 inch Plasma screen TV to closing the curtains.
An extensive range of full-size Hermes bathroom amenities, a decadent bath menu with music and oils, and an alternative menu offering a range of 13 pillows to choose from are also provided as standard in all the suites.
The sophisticated private dining menu is served 24 hours, and offers an extensive international array of exquisite dishes and sumptuous treats. Alternatively, guests are able to coordinate a personalised menu with the Chef and Private Dining Manager, to be served within the suite.

Mixology
Mixology is a modern and unique style of bartending and a relatively new concept with the theory that the correct mixing of liquid ingredients can form a totally balanced drink. The Mixology trolley is a fully functional mobile bar which glides from table to table as a team of trained mixologists concoct tailor-made cocktails for guests.
Each guest can give their cocktail a name and the mixologist can note down the ingredients so the guest can take it away with them to enjoy all over the world.
